It’s about a sergeant that has memories about a little girl. He met Esme and shared conversations with her that he could not get out of his head. He starts to write to her but it took her a great deal of time to answer him back. When she did answer however he became very happy something he hadn’t felt in a really long time.  I say you read the story. It’s excellent.
